For anyone searching for what God is all about will certainly find the answers in this volume of Walsch’s three books. Be prepared to spend many hours absorbing the language with which God “speaks” to the author.
After consuming Chapter one I took the author’s (God?) advise and went back to the beginning and started over again, Now that I am now re-reading Chapter one I find that this was certainly sound advice! I am now beginning to comprehend the-sometimes difficult language with which God presents His case.
Try “A History of God” another excellent tome on this subject if you want to dig deeper. Anyway, – 5 stars to Walsch’s work; I’m really “into” this book, but I can only spend a couple of hours a day reading it, so I’m beginning to wonder whether I can finish it this year! But don’t get discouraged by the sometimes heavy going – it is well worth your time I assure you!

This is an excellent book, one needs to keep an open mind and realize that there is more than one way to get to the Mountain top. There are a lot of things that made a huge amount of sense for me spiritually. As I reread the book I find more and more in it.
I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for answers spiritually, it may not give you the answers you are looking for but it will make you think, and give you a different perspective. I can say it has made a difference in my life, for the better.

This book will certainly rub many people the ‘wrong’ way because it is so contrary to everything we’ve been taught about God and how we should be living our lives… but it makes incredible sense! There are a few points I would question, but that’s good: I’m thinking for myself and not just thinking what I’m told.
“Conversations” is incredibly logical and the reader can understand how it could all work, but will we ever all take the same approach? I’ve read book 1 three times and am now reading book 2 and 3. I’m excited about my new-found perspective. There’s no fear, only love now!
